I co-founded Sani, a culturally inspired fashion brand backed by a16z and investors including Andy Dunn and Reshma Saujani. With a lean team of two full-time founders and one part-time employee, we scaled the company to a seven-figure business on just $190K in funding. How?
Storytelling: We grew our TikTok to 197K+ followers and our Instagram to 79K+ followers, driving over 80% of sales organically through storytelling and community.
Partnerships: We launched with Nordstrom and Rent the Runway as the first South Asian brand in both retailers, selling out on Rent the Runway within 48 hours and achieving 78% sell through in Nordstrom’s first month.
